Full-stack Software Engineer
What we are looking for
We are searching for a talented full-stack engineer to lead development of understand.com and our video player that delivers animations to millions of viewers per year. A degree in Computer Science is preferred, but applicants with 3 to 4 years' experience in relevant areas will be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and a demonstrable passion for software development will also go a long way.
You need to know how to
- Build and scale back-end services using Node.js, MySQL, Serverless, and AWS
- Maintain legacy ASP.NET applications
- Turn raw HMTL/CSS into functioning web components (React)
- Write and maintain restful APIs
- Optimize load times
It would be nice if you have
- 4+ years building web applications with React
- Experience with Shopify and Stripe
- A knack for composability and systems design
- Experience working with streaming video
