Breast Cancer Animation Library

Animated library significantly improves physician-patient communication and improves healthcare literacy for breast cancer.

Understand.com is proud to announce the launch of its breast cancer patient education library. This library provides patients with a comprehensive understanding of breast cancer including an overview of the disease, an introduction to the treatment team, and various surgical and nonsurgical treatment options. It was developed and reviewed by a team of board certified physicians who represent the many specialties involved with the treatment and care of breast cancer patients.

“Breast cancer touches everyone at some point; this library will help physicians better communicate with their patients by simplifying the complex information and treatment options related to breast cancer. The content team at Understand.com has really created a powerful library and I’ve never been as proud of their work as I am with this.” said Darik Volpa, CEO of Understand.com.

The expanding breast cancer library currently includes the following topics:

  • Breast Self-Exam
  • Mammography
  • Understand Your Treatment Team
