News® Launches New Infographic Product Line

The initial product launch will focus on exploring childhood diseases, the first being Pediatric Acute Neurological Syndrome (PANS) and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS)® is excited to announce the release of its new infographic product line of patient brochures, posters, and digital downloads that are focused on pediatric diseases. Our first release, Understanding PANS and PANDAS, was developed in collaboration with Stanford University and the PANDAS Network and will focus on PANS and PANDAS patient education.

“After my own personal experience with PANS/PANDAS, I had a difficult time understanding the condition. Patient education material was nonexistent, and explaining the condition to friends and family was impossible. There was a great need for better content on PANS and PANDAS and it made sense to make this our first infographic topic,” said Darik Volpa, CEO of “Infographics are the next step in extending our product line of animation libraries and interactive Deep Dives™.”

Data strongly supports the use of visual learning materials such as infographics and animations for educating patients:

  • 65% of people are visual learners. (Pearson)
  • 90% of information sent to the brain is visual. (MIT)
  • When people hear information, they’re likely to remember only 10% of that information three days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information, people retained 65% of the information three days later. (Brain Rules)
  • Visuals with color increase people’s willingness to read a piece of content by 80%. (Saurage Research)

The Understanding PANS and PANDAS infographics are now available to order online at A portion of infographic sales will be used to support ongoing education and research at the PANDAS Network and the PANS Clinic at Stanford University.® is excited to announce the release of our updated Periacetabular Osteotomy (PAO) animation
